An applicant tracking system helps employers collect, search, and organize applications. ResumeAI compares the text you paste with a job description and highlights recognized keyword gaps. It cannot predict a hiring decision or reproduce every employer's ATS configuration.

Paste the text of your resume into the ATS Compliance Checker. It runs 15 text-based checks for items such as contact details, standard headings, bullet consistency, measurable results, and common text problems. Because the checker does not inspect an uploaded file, you must review columns, tables, margins, fonts, images, and reading order in the final document yourself.

Paste an English-language job description into the Keyword Extractor. The taxonomy and synonym matcher identifies recognized hard and soft skills. Gap Analysis then shows which recognized terms also appear in your resume. Always compare the result with the original posting because no fixed taxonomy captures every role.

There is currently no subscription fee or credit card requirement. Fair-use rate limits apply, especially to AI tools, and availability depends on third-party service quotas. We will disclose any future paid plan before charging for it.

The public keyword demo works without an account. The remaining tools require a free account. Saved resumes and job-tracker entries use your Supabase-backed account; temporary provider outages can interrupt synchronization and are reported in the interface.

The checker evaluates 15 properties visible in pasted text, including contact details, common section headings, summary and skills sections, bullet usage, measurable results, first-person language, repeated wording, length, and possible special-character issues. It does not inspect the source PDF or DOCX layout.

The score is an explainable comparison against ResumeAI's curated taxonomy and synonym rules. It is useful for finding wording gaps, but it is not a score from an employer's ATS and does not predict interviews. Employer systems, recruiter searches, knockout questions, and ranking rules vary.

Three single-column templates: Classic (indigo accent with horizontal rules — traditional and widely accepted), Modern (navy header band with teal section accents — clean and contemporary), and Minimal (zero colour, pure black-and-white — maximally conservative). All three are single-column with no graphics, tables, or special characters.

ResumeAI is designed for English-language job descriptions and currently has strongest taxonomy coverage for technology and knowledge-work roles. Results for specialized trades, non-English text, healthcare, legal, and other regulated fields require especially careful manual review.

Pasted text is sent to our FastAPI backend when you run an analysis or export. AI feature text is also forwarded through Hugging Face to an inference provider. ResumeAI does not put request bodies in access logs. Saved resumes, versions, job-tracker entries, profiles, and shareable score data are stored in Supabase as described in our Privacy Policy.
